Olive Oil Library Experience Tour<\/strong><\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Some libraries preserve books. However, there are no books at all in the Y\u00fccel S\u00f6nmez Olive Oil Library, which houses Sevilma olive oils. This place keeps alive the culture of olive production, dating back thousands of years, and the collective memory of different regions. Instead of books, the shelves of this library are lined with olive oils from various regions stretching from Anatolia to America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Named after our journalist friend Y\u00fccel S\u00f6nmez, who passed away in 2025, our library houses 70 varieties of olive oil from Turkey and various parts of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Olive Oil Library, located at Sevilma Garden\u2014Turkey\u2019s first Slow Food Farm\u2014is the world\u2019s first olive oil library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the unique experience you\u2019ll have here, you\u2019ll embark on a journey through the diverse landscapes of Turkey and the wider world. All you need to do to enjoy this experience\u2014one you won\u2019t find anywhere else in the world\u2014is to visit the village of Orhanl\u0131 in Seferihsar.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
